STOW Construction Equipment’s 9-cubic-foot concrete mixer, the CMS9, is one of the Top 25 Products of the Year, as chosen by leading trade publication Concrete Contractor.

The mixer, one of nine in the STOW concrete and masonry mixer line, is featured in Concrete Contractor’s August/September issue. Recipients of the annual Top 25 award were selected from hundreds of products that appeared in the magazine throughout 2005. Winners were based on the number of inquiries generated from the publication’s more than 25,000 subscribers.

The CMS9 mixer has a 1-1½ bag capacity. It features an easy-loading drum that is 21 inches (53 centimeters) wide and 31 inches (79 centimeters) deep. Standard offerings include a rugged 14-gauge steel engine cover with punched ventilation openings for increased cooling and added strength, a multi-position dump latch, and an oversized dump wheel for easier discharging of concrete. The mixer is available with an 8-horsepower Honda and a 1.5-horsepower electric 115/230V single-phase motor.
