STOW’s New CMS9 Concrete Mixer Is the Versatility King

STOW’s new line of rugged concrete mixers gives contractors and construction professionals what they need most: dependability, versatility and unmatched performance.

There are three models in the line, headed by the heavy-duty CMS9. Designed to meet a broad spectrum of mixing needs on jobs of all sizes, the CMS9 has a 9-cubic-foot capacity (1 to 1 ½ bags).

The durable mixer also features an easy-loading drum that is wider (21 inches) and deeper (31 inches) than other models. Standard offerings include a rugged 14-gauge steel engine cover with punched ventilation openings for increased cooling and added strength, axle springs for less bounce and sway, a multi-position dump latch, an oversized dump wheel for easier discharging of material and a heavy-duty one-piece cast iron ring gear for extended life.

In addition, the CMS9 is easy to get to and from the job site. The mixer has large 13-inch tires for smooth transportation and operators have the option of a loop coupler, 2-inch ball hitch or pin-type coupler option, and a sturdy retractable tow tongue built with schedule 80 steel.

The mixer is available with a variety of engine options: 8-horsepower Briggs & Stratton, Honda, and Robin OHV gasoline engines, and 1.5-horsepower electric (115/230V 1-phase).

For smaller jobs, STOW’s two other steel-drum concrete mixers — the CMS4 and CMS6 — have capacities for 4- and 6-cubic-feet, respectively. Like the larger CMS9, these mixers are V-Belt driven and offer a manual dump action. The CMS4 has a drum opening width of 17 ½ inches while the CMS6’s drum opening is 19 inches. Both are available in a number of engine options.
