STOW’s Cutter 1 Slab Saw Is Compact, Lightweight and Up to Any Challenge

Concrete cutters from the professional contractor to the weekend do-it-yourselfer need look no further than STOW’s new Cutter 1 Slab Saw to get the job done right the first time.

The Cutter 1 push saws is compact, easy to operate, simple to maintain and boasts the performance expected from larger, pricier saws. The Cutter 1, which is offered with three power options, weighs from 235 to 270 pounds and is ideally suited for any number of asphalt and concrete cutting applications.

The saw is equipped with a standard 18-inch blade guard and accepts 14-, 16- and 18-inch blades. The Cutter 1’s Acme Crank easily raises and lowers the blade and locks into position thus ensuring a consistent 5.5-inch depth of cut.

The Cutter 1 is available with 9- or 13-HP Honda Cyclone gasoline engines or a 5-HP, 230-Volt, electric motor. The saw measures 37 inches (H) by 54 ½ inches (L) by 12 inches (W) and its reinforced steel box frame resists warping and adds the strength necessary to reduce vibrations during operation. Reduced vibrations translate to enhanced blade performance, minimized blade wear and extended saw life. A hinged front, lift-up blade guard ensures quick and easy blade replacement while the Cutter 1’s water system provides an optimum flow and volume of water to the blade while its use of standard hardware materials simplifies maintenance functions.

Other standard features on the push Cutter 3 models include an adjustable height handle with cushion grips, a front pointer, and roller bearing wheels. The self-propelled models sport a transmission control lever placed on the free-wheel lever that disengages the drive system for simple transportation.
