Removing floor covering just got a lot simpler.

STOW’s brand new Floor Covering Scraper weighs only 130 pounds (59 kg.) yet it possesses the muscle to remove direct glue-down carpet, hardwood flooring, linoleum, non-slip floor coverings, vinyl tile and any other adhesive, cement or mastic.

The SFCS18 model is driven by a ¾-HP fan-cooled capacitor-start motor and constructed with unitized, welded steel plates for added strength. Operating at 10.3 amps under full load, the scraper can be plugged into any regular 15-amp electrical circuit. It comes standard with 37 feet (11.1 meters) of GFI-protected extension cord.

The scraper’s exciter is mounted directly to the drive shaft and it features a height-adjustable handle that is easily folded for transportation and storage. The foldable handle reduces the machine’s height to only 23 inches (58 cm.) and the scraper will fit into most car trunks. The scraper’s also only 23 inches wide making it ideal for working in narrow, space-restricted areas.

The SFCS18’s screw-type height control ensures constant blade contact with the floor. Eight-inch diameter (20 cm.) plastic wheels have self-lubricated bearings and fully adjustable wheel scrapers on each wheel prevent glue build-up.

STOW’s Floor Covering Scraper comes complete with a built-in lifting handle as well as a blade change wrench, sharpening file, and 6- and 10-inch (15-25 cm.) straight heat-treaded blades. A variety of accessories are also available, including laser cut straight blades and angled mastic removal blades sizes 6 to 16 inches, and tooth-type attachments for ceramic tiles and hardwood floors.
