One of the most powerful names in construction equipment just got re-charged.
STOW’s two brand new gasoline-powered portable generators provide contractors with the highest performing, most reliable output on the market at a cost that won’t force operators to turn off the lights. The generators showcase newly redesigned Robin engines that boast superior fuel economy, easy starting, low noise levels and low maintenance.
The G-2.9R and G-4.5R gasoline-powered generators supply a maximum output of 2.9 and 4.5kW (2.6 and 3.7kW continuous), respectively. A 5.7-horsepower Robin EX-17D engine drives the G-2.9R. The generator has a fuel tank capacity of 2.6 gallons (12 liters) and weighs 108 pounds (49 kg.).
The more powerful G-4.5R is powered by a 9-horsepower Robin EX-27D engine, has a 4.2-gallon (19 liter) fuel tank capacity and weighs 149 pounds (68 kg.). The G-4.5R utilizes an idle control to lower engine rpm during periods of no-load to prolong the generator’s life.
Both STOW generators feature a brushless alternator design that eliminates carbon brushes and slip rings thus lowering maintenance costs. Also, they utilize dependable Multiquip generator ends known throughout the construction industry for their high performance, 100 percent copper windings for maximum conductivity, and rugged shock-mounted control panels built to handle the demands of the job site.
