STOW’s three new concrete mixers are no exception. The largest capacity model in the line — the heavy-duty CMS9 — is designed to meet a broad spectrum of mixing needs on jobs of all sizes with a 9-cubic-foot (255 liters) or 1 to 1½-bag capacity.

The durable CMS9 boasts an easy-loading drum that is wider (21 inches — 53 cm.) and deeper (31 inches — 79 cm.) than other models on the market. Standard offerings include a rugged 14-gauge steel engine cover with punched ventilation openings for increased cooling and added strength, a multi-position dump latch, a heavy-duty one-piece cast iron ring gear for extended life, axle springs for less bounce and sway, and an oversized dump wheel for easier discharging of concrete.

The mixer is available with a variety of engine options: 8-horsepower Briggs & Stratton, Honda, and Robin OHV gasoline engines, and a 1.5-horsepower electric 115/230V single-phase motor.

For simplified transport, the CMS9 mixer has large 13-inch (33 cm.) tires for smooth transportation and operators have the option of a loop coupler, 2-inch (5-cm.) ball hitch or pin-type coupler, and a sturdy retractable tow tongue built with schedule 80 steel.

For smaller jobs, STOW’s CMS4 and CMS6 steel drum concrete mixers have capacities of 4- and 6-cubic-feet (113, 170 liters), respectively. Like the larger CMS9, these mixers are V-Belt driven and offer a manual dump action. The CMS4 has a drum opening width of 17½ inches (44½ cm.) while the CMS6’s drum opening is 19 inches (48 cm.). Both are available in a number of engine options.
